1.Scope of This Policy
This Policy covers both Site domains, the forms and resources available through them, and the communications we send. It does not cover the websites or services of third parties, or the handling of client and candidate information once a formal staffing engagement begins, which is governed by separate agreements. This Policy is written for our Site audience: prospective clients, general visitors, and prospective candidates who interact with the Site.
2.Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. When you use our forms, request resources, or contact us, we may collect your name, company, job title, work email address, telephone number, details about your hiring needs (such as the roles you need to fill and how many), the software or qualifications a role requires, and any information you include in messages to us. If you request a resource such as the Hiring Playbook, we collect the information you submit to receive it. If you book a call through our scheduling tool, we collect the information needed to schedule it.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we automatically collect device and usage data, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages you view, time spent on the Site, and referring URLs. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies, web analytics (Google Analytics 4), and advertising and conversion technologies (the LinkedIn Insight Tag). We also capture campaign parameters (UTM tags) used to attribute the source of your visit.
Information from third parties. We may receive business contact and intent data from business data providers that we use to inform our outreach, and information from the customer-relationship and marketing platforms we use to manage inquiries.
3.How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and job order submissions.
- Provide, evaluate, and improve our staffing and recruiting services.
- Deliver the resources you request, such as the Hiring Playbook.
- Send you service-related and marketing communications, subject to your right to opt out of marketing.
- Manage our client relationships and sales pipeline.
- Analyze how the Site is used and improve its performance and content.
- Measure and attribute the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, security issues, and misuse.
- Comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some state privacy laws define "sale" and "sharing" broadly to include certain advertising and analytics activities, including the use of advertising cookies and tags. Where those laws apply, you have the right to opt out of that activity, as described in Section 8, and we honor opt-out preference signals where required.
6.Email and Marketing Communications
We may send you marketing communications related to our services. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-out requests promptly. We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act in our commercial email. Service and transactional communications, such as a response to a job order or a resource you requested, may continue after you opt out of marketing.
7.Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary by the type of information and the context in which it was collected. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or de-identify it.
8.Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Opt out of marketing communications.
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising, as those terms are defined by applicable state law.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information, where applicable.
- Appeal a decision we make regarding your request, where applicable state law provides an appeal right.
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, and others, have these rights to the extent those laws apply. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@spinnakersolutions.co or 404.905.5066. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, in which case we may require proof of the agent's authority and verification of your identity.
9.Data Security
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10.Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for business and employment-related use and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete it.
11.Third-Party Links and Analytics
The Site links to and integrates third-party services, including LinkedIn, our scheduling tool, and our form-processing platform. These services have their own privacy policies, which govern the information they collect, and we are not responsible for their practices.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand Site usage and the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure and improve our advertising. You can learn about and opt out of Google Analytics through Google's opt-out tools, and you can control LinkedIn advertising through your LinkedIn account settings.
12.International Users
The Site is operated from the United States and is intended for users in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be processed and stored in the United States, and by using the Site you consent to that transfer and processing.
13.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version. We will indicate material changes by updating the date and, where appropriate, by posting notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after we post changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
